Ares is a sweet and affectionate 3-year-old Staffy Dutch Shepherd mix who patiently awaits his forever home. He’s spent the past 2 years with his incredible foster families, but now, it’s time for him to find a loving, permanent family to call his own.

Ares has had a tough journey—after being rescued from a high-kill shelter in North Georgia, spending time in another shelter, and experiencing multiple returns for no fault of his own. He’s still hopeful for the right family.
Right now, Ares splits his time between two foster families who would love to adopt him but are unable to do so due to their impending relocation.
Ares is smart, calm, and always ready to learn. A lover of long walks, dog parks, fetching, and sticks, Ares is eager to be your loyal companion and will fill your life with joy, love, and endless tail wags! He just needs a stable and loving home to thrive.
